My name is Becky Bertram. Welcome to my site. I am a SharePoint developer with a focus on web content management. I am an independent consultant, with over 9 years of consulting experience. I have lived through the evolution of web content management, starting with the dot com era, building custom content management solutions in classic ASP in 1999; I built custom web applications using VB Script, .NET 1.1, and .NET 2.0 for Microsoft Content Management Server for 4 years; then made the jump to SharePoint 2007 and Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 in 2006. Although in many ways, functionality has become much easier (think out-of-the-box navigation controls), it has also become much more complicated (think creating composite, dynamic navigation controls pulling from mulitple data sources). My goal is to help folks navigate the complexities of their online content management systems, to ultimately end up with a solution that meets their needs.
